i recently visited a hotel in vienna that completely surpassed my expectations! my previous experience in the city was good, but this time around, the room was beautifully designed and featured a lovely nespresso machine. the relaxation areas, especially the sauna, made unwinding after a day of sightseeing a real treat.
the fitness center equipment was outdated.

Housekeeping could improve cleanliness standards.

I had a lovely time staying at Maxx in Vienna! The room's chic style, comfy bed, and great shower made it a delightful retreat after our city explorations. While the breakfast felt a bit pricey, overall, the location near the subway was very convenient for sightseeing!

I enjoyed two nights in a really comfy Superior Double room, especially loving the waffle maker at breakfast and the long hours to savor it. The hotel's spa was a nice touch with a soothing massage and a relaxing steam room available. The only little hiccup was the food selection. some items could've been better, but it still hit the spot! 😊

The room was spacious and chic with big windows that let in lots of natural light. Super comfy bed and a sleek bathroom that had everything I needed. Loved the Nespresso machine for that caffeine fix! But the bathroom lighting situation was a bit weird—when you turned on the bathroom lights, it lit up the whole room, which could be annoying at night. Still, overall a nice stay!

The location was great, as it was easy to access the metro and get into the heart of the city. I appreciated the spacious room and the excellent breakfast options available. However, the housekeeping could have been better since I found some hairs on the sheets, which was quite disappointing.

missingWrote a review on Sept 05early housekeeping
However, the temperature control in the room was an issue. even when set to the lowest, it felt uncomfortably warm. I also noticed that cleaning seemed minimal, with towels frequently having stray hairs on them, indicating a need for better housekeeping practices. On check-out day, a housekeeper barged in two hours too early, creating an awkward moment that delayed my departure plans. Additionally, the location, while convenient for transport, is a bit removed from the main sights of the city.

However, my room's A/C was a no-show. Guess I should've brought my trusty fan instead!

will definitely go again next time
The Superior Double room was super comfy and well-equipped, like having a coffee machine and a flat-screen TV. The spa facilities were amazing, especially the sauna and back massages. Breakfast had fresh croissants and lots of juices. Location was near a tram stop and a Billa supermarket, which was really handy.
